Tancredo Says Obama’s Campaign Is Desperate – Don’t Bet Those Cards Too Heavily, Mac

Obama’s Hand?

Writing over at World Net Daily, former Congressman Tom Tancredo (who got himself declared persona non grata by the Bush Administration, because of his strong stance against illegal immigration) asserts that Barack Obama’s most recent foray into lawless governance – an executive de facto amnesty for hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens – demonstrates that The President is in a panic mode.  I’m not convinced of that – not by a long shot.  It’s a high-stakes poker game he’s playing and I think the deck is stacked.  Tancredo writes:

With his unconstitutional amnesty decree of June 15, Obama has played a losing hand. His cynical manipulation of the “Hispanic vote” only confirms voters’ view of Obama as an unprincipled ends-justifies-the-means politician.

Obama is going all-out for the Hispanic vote, and the rule of law be damned.

The great irony of his cynical political move is that it will make congressional enactment of the so-called Dream Act impossible. His temporary amnesty will be exactly that, temporary. It will end on the afternoon of Jan. 20, 2013, when his successor walks into the Oval Office. Any immigration reform enacted by the next Congress will not vaguely resemble the Obama plan.

Obama’s amnesty-by-fiat shows his campaign’s desperation. His campaign is in full panic as his poll numbers continue to slide…

Remember, we’re dealing with a man who is surrounded by revolutionary leftist minions, some of them with resumes which include a history of literal violence.  A lot can happen between now and election day.  Anything is possible at this point in the game.  If you’ve done any homework on the leftist backgrounds of the President’s closest friends – Mr. David Axelrod, Mr. Van Jones, Mr. William Ayers, and Mr. Frank Marshall Davis, you already know what I’m addressing here.  If you haven’t, then shame on you and you deserve whatever the next four years may bring if Mr. Obama is reelected.

These men are not given to panic.  They’re not stupid or incompetent.  They have a long-held ideological vision for the destruction of the middle class and they’ve instituted a long-term methodical plan to achieve the goal.  If you’ve lost your home, your job, your savings and you’re at the verge of destitution, then you’re experiencing firsthand the Obama plan for America.

In any battle plan you’ve got to have contingencies if certain things happen during the ebb and flow.  So, when Tom Tancredo writes that the Team Obama is in a state of desperation, I begin to wonder what card will be next to land on the poker table.  And what does Mr. Obama have up his sleeve?

As a certain syndicated columnist put it this week in a June 21 post:

Is — as the echoes tell us after AG Holder’s on-target contempt citation from the House Oversight Committee — Obama having a “bad week”? Or, when we fold in the practically already forgotten Rose Garden Amnesty for “the children,” is constitutional government itself under assault? And how would the Oracle at Delphi interpret the growing list of Democrats (hailing from four states, four US Reps. one US Senator and a state governor) who have announced they will not be going to the Democratic Convention in Charlotte in September? I don’t remember that EVER happening before. Either a blowout is coming … or a big blow. Batten down the hatches.

Indeed.  We haven’t seen all the cards yet.  And I think the President has a couple of aces up his sleeve.  You can bet heavily on that one.
