Civil War Re-Erupts In Iraq – Muslim Brotherhood Seizes Power In Egypt – D.C. Clueless

Really, it’s just enough to make one want to throw his hands into the air and hide somewhere.  The government of the new “free” Iraq has just ordered the shutdown of no less than 44 broadcasting outlets, in the wake of a spate of sectarian bombings that has killed or maimed unknown numbers of Iraqis.  Allahu Akbar!  The country appears to be in another full-blown civil war.

And, will surprises never cease?  Egypt is now firmly in the grips of the Muslim brotherhood, thanks to the “free” democratic election just held there.  If you’ve followed this blog or any of the counter-jihad bloggers, you already know that the MB is the progenitor of every Muslim terrorist organization currently in operation in the world.  Founded in 1928 by Hasan al Banna, its purpose is the eventual overthrow of Western Civilization and the re-establishment of the Muslim Caliphate.

What is so rankling for this writer is that people like Robert Spencer, Diana West, Pam Geller, Andrew Bostom, Frank Gaffney, Andy McCarthy and others who fully understand the jihad movement, have been predicting both of these events for years now.  And does anyone in Washington, D.C., in our stumbling, bumbling, politically very correct Department of State seem to have even a clue as to what all of this really means for the Middle East?  Nope.
