I’ve often wondered why there’s been no fatwa on the life of Huma Abedin (or against Barack Obama for claiming to be a Christian, for that matter). The only answer I’ve thought of, which Andrew Bostom touches upon in his excellent essay, is that there is some subterranean agendum going on in the cause of Islam, which hasn’t been made public by our abjectly defunct, Shariah-ignoring Press Corps. Nonetheless, here’s a link and a portion of another educational piece by Dr. Bostom, who is in my opinion America’s premier historian and author in the area of Islam, jihad and Sharia:
Yesterday (7/23/12) the New York Post reported that Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin had been placed under round the clock security protection by NY police and federal officials, following an “unspecified threat” by a Muslim man from New Jersey.
New York Post reporter Larry Celona chose to link the threat to the controversy surrounding Michelle Bachmann’s reasonable call for an investigation of the background security clearance procedures Huma Abedin underwent given her family ties—especially her mother, Saleyah Abedin’s—overt connections to the Muslim Brotherhood, and its Sharia supremacist ideology.
But there is another more plausible avenue of inquiry the New York Post and other media investigators should pursue: Muslim anger at what, at least on the surface, barring any overriding Islamic purpose, is a clear violation of mainstream, Sharia-based Islamic rulings on the marriage of a Muslim woman to a non-Muslim man…
Read the entire piece for a background in the Muslim law and history which deals with Ms. Abedin’s seemingly unforgivable transgression against Islam. This crime she’s allegedly committed by marrying an Infidel (that is to say, a non-Muslim) carries severe punishment under the Shariah.
So, what’s really going on here?
