President Of Egypt Mohamed Morsi: Jews Descendants Of Apes And Pigs (By Golly He Read His Koran)

Andrew McCarthy and Andrew Bostom, two men on the front line of the in-progress battle to stem the rising tide of Sharia (Muslim law), published essays this week on some commentary publicly uttered by the duly elected Arab Spring President of Egypt – Mohamed Morsi. 

No reasonable person can expect any progress on this track. Either [you accept] the Zionists and everything they want, or else it is war. This is what these occupiers of the land of Palestine know – these blood-suckers, who attack the Palestinians, these warmongers, the descendants of apes and pigs.

That would be the same freedom-loving Mr. Morsi to whom the peace-loving Obama Administration is sending our state of the art F16 war planes, ostensibly to eventually wage a full scale holy war (jihad) against Israel.  By the way, what ever happened to that very vocal American anti-war movement after January 20 of 2009?  But I digress.

The thrust of the two Andrews’ writings is that Mr. Morsi didn’t suddenly pull this idea about where Jews originated out of his own fez.  Rather, the concept is an accepted tenet of mainstream Islam.  McCarthy writes in The National Review Online:

When Mohamed Morsi dehumanizes Jews as “the descendants of apes and pigs,” there’s an elephant in the room. We find it here:

Those who incurred the curse of Allah and His wrath, those of whom some He transformed into apes and swine, those who worshipped evil — these are many times worse in rank, and far more astray from the even Path!

You see, Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood mahoff–turned–president did not conjure up the apes-and-pigs riff on his own. When Morsi fulminates that Muslims “must not forget to nurse our children and grandchildren on hatred towards those Zionists and Jews, and all those who support them,” he is taking his cues straight from the Koran. Or rather, from the Holy Koran, as “progressive” American politicians take pains to call it in the off hours from their campaign to drive every last vestige of Judeo-Christian culture from the public square.

And:

Contrary to the fairy tale weaved by apologists for Islamists on both sides of America’s political aisle, Jew hatred is not a pathogen insidiously injected into Islam by the Nazis (with whom Middle Eastern Muslims enthusiastically aligned).

Dr. Bostom begins his essay thusly:

Much to his credit, Sean Hannity, incessantly throughout this week (see here, here, and here), has used his Fox News soap box to pillory the Obama Administration for its sale (i.e., purchased with US aid moneys) of F-16 fighter jets and Abrams tanks to the Egyptian regime under Muslim Brotherhood adept, and President, Muhammad Morsi.

Hannity’s rhetorical attacks have repeatedly—and appropriately—featured Morsi’s 2010 interviews which characterized “Zionists,” unmistakably Jews in the Muslim Brotherhood leader’s parlance, as being “the descendants of apes and pigs.” But not once has Hannity, or any of his interlocutors in these discussions of Morsi’s “apes and pigs” comment, informed the Fox News viewing audience that this ugly, Jew-hating reference derives from a specific verse in the Koran, sura (chapter) 5, verse 60 (Koran 5:60).

Naturally, the Obama Administration, having done everything it could do to foment, encourage, promote and push the recent Arab Spring revolts across the Middle East, now takes the next step in assisting Islam’s centuries-old mandate to destroy Israel and her people:  Let’s give the newly elected Muslim Brotherhood Egyptian government some F-16s and a few of our best tanks.  You know – for the Religion of Peace.
