Andrew Bostom

Eastern conservative talk show heavy hitter Helen Glover recently hosted the dauntless counter-jihad author Andrew Bostom, who spoke to his NRO article about the increasingly sinister situation between Iran and Israel.  A brillian historian, physician and medical professor at Brown University, Bostom also addressed the astonishing refusal of the vaunted United Nations and Hillary Clinton’s Department of State to acknowledge the credibility of the Iranian government’s oft-stated intentions to fulfill Islam’s historical Koranic mandate – kill all of the world’s Jews.

…”What I wanted to present in my [NRO] piece was the fact that this is a very deep-seated theolgical hatred, unfortunately, that has emanated from Iran for a long time.  And what we saw in 1979 was a revival and certainly an apocalyptic variant. because of the end gathering of Jews, you know, to Israel, and the revitalization of a country who was thought to have been a part of the dust bin of history.  And this has just made the theological sentiments so much worse.  And they’ve been reiterated continuously for thirty years, since Khomeini, himself.  They’ve now been coupled to a nuclear program.  You know, Khomeini always spoke metaphorically about getting rid of Israel, you know, using various metaphors like, if all the Muslims of the world carried a cup of water and just washed it away…the express purpose is to annihilate the Jewish State, and the fervor is so intense that even knowing that Israel has, you know, a capable nuclear program, that the leaders of Iran have argued that they could withstand a retaliatory [nuclear] strike, whereas, Israel, being a very small country, could not withstand a strike.  And so, that, it’s sort of martyrdom an a mass scale…”

If you’re not versed in Muslim doctrine, martyrdom, getting one’s self killed in an act of violent jihad (killing Infidels) is a sure ticket to paradise with all its attendant benefits.

Listen to the entire interview.  If Barack Obama truly had the interests of preserving Western freedoms and institutions at heart, he’d have Dr. Bostom or one of his distinguished colleagues closeby for sage advice.

Khomeini's Dream Coming True - America Surrendering To Sharia

We are witnessing the greatest surrender, abject acts of submission to sharia, and the most embarassing episodes of dhimmitude yet seen in America.  I thought things were bad in the United Kingdom and Spain.  If you follow Diana West’s work, you’ve already seen this video, in which General John Allen, the supreme commander of the ISAF forces in Afghanistan, made a statement apologizing to the “noble people of Afghanistan” for the destruction of Islamic religious paraphernalia confiscated from prisoners of war.

The result of Allen’s prostration before the World of Islam is another deadly violent Muslim uprising and attack on a NATO base.   At least six are known dead and the U.S. Embassy is in lockdown.  Here’s a link to the Reuters story:

As a free civilization, we are walking on ever more fragile eggshells, trying to appease and mollify the World of Islam, whose founder declared eternal merciless war, and scorched earth destruction, against the Dar al Harb (house of war) about thirteen centuries ago.  We non-Muslims happen to occupy that Dar al Harb, by the way.  You can’t blame George Bush, or George Washington for that matter, for this war.  It began in 622 A.D.  And it will go on forever.

Our only hope to survive as a Constitutional Republic will be determined next November.  Another term in office for the current Commander In Chief, with his pro-sharia sentiments and the dhimmitude of his administration, is going to be catastrophic.

We are tipping at the brink of the cliff.  The sharia abyss is below us.  Our military leadrship is failing.  The FBI has already surrendered to the Muslim Brotherhood (ISNA) by agreeing to destroy anti-terrorism training manuals and records that ISNA says are offensive to Islam.  The Department of State and the Pentagon are thoroughly infiltrated with pro-Muslim bureaucrats, who are betraying us.  The only military man with the knowledge and backbone to confront the legal doctrines of Islam head-on, former U.S. Army Reserve Major Stephen Coughlin, was long ago run out of the Pentagon by a Muslim protester, Hasham Islam.

The American people will save themselves only by their votes in November – if there is an election.

The noble people of Afghanistan?…hmph.  Our guys and gals are over there fighting for this?

…I have done some reading over the past few years and I wouldn’t trust them [Muslims] as far as I could kick them. We have our own problems with them in Australia and what makes me so angry is that they won’t throw the ring leaders out. 

There is one ferret – a so-called Imam/Cleric – who has come out and said things like women should be beaten and we will have sharia law in the Australia in the future etc. If they put enough of their people up for election to Parliament, then I don’t doubt it. Perhaps (hopefully) the authorities might want to keep him under surveillance here so they haven’t chucked him out of Australia. 

We have had some horrific rapes by Muslim young men of innocent girls and the men were gaoled [jailed] for years. The girls in question were wearing normal, office-type clothes and the Defence for the Muslims tried to make out they were whores and deserved everything they go because they had their legs showing. Then there was a terrifying riot at a suburb in Sydney when some Muslim youths insulted Australian girls and the Aussie blokes waded into the fray. It’s a powder keg set to go off at any time. Thank goodness I live in a small rural Queensland town.

Fortunately at this time “we” (meaning the rest of the population) out number the Muslims, but with the way they are breeding, that won’t be the case forever. We have thousands of boat people coming in and no one seems to have an idea how to stop them. Most of them are Muslims, but the authorities tell us that they are “persecuted” and we have to give them a chance to plead their case. Funnily enough, the boats are loaded with 80% of fit-as-a-buck-rat young men, around 10% women and children. What a coincidence… 

And the insanity of the grovelling to them! I can’t believe that some adult Australians advocate that we shouldn’t have Christmas festivities in case it might upset other religions! And yet it’s happening and boy must the Muslims be delighted.

They’re waking up to them in Europe – 20+ million of them there – and the European countries have made a rod for their own backs. However, it won’t matter that the French have banned the scarves and burkas. They’ll just bide their time and have thousands of children. They really don’t have to kill us, they just need to wait until they outnumber us and take over  Parliaments and the Judiciary, the education and health systems. What else could they possibly need?

And there you have it, straight and hard, from one who lives down under.

I’m not going to re-hash the Press Corp’s ongoing illicit love affair with President Barack Obama and its willful blindness to his sealed history.  No one seems to care about any of that.  Suffice it to say they do truly, deeply, passionately and faithfully adore him.  To this day most reporters refuse to delve into his hidden background.  They won’t go near it.  Fine.  That’s where we are.

The big media are, however, very willing to do their jobs in finding ugly historical tidbits on the Republican side of the aisle.  I’ve been watching this gradual evisceration of each (R) presidential candidate with growing cynicism.  So, now with thanks to Jennifer Rubin at the Washington Post, here’s a link to a video of a 2006 televised interview with Rick Santorum talking about birth control that made me shake my head back and forth as I watched and listened:

My thoughts:  What business is it of Mr. Santorum’s, the government’s, or mine, to decide whether or not any person should or should not use man-made birth control medications or devices?  It’s not his business.  Asked the same question posed to Mr. Santorum by this particular reporter, that’s what I would have said.  It’s not my business.  So, don’t ask me that question again.  Santorum opened himself up to some hostile fire with his response.  Mitt Romney got a dose of the same line of questioning from Clintonista George Stephanopoulos during a recent presidential debate.

All’s fair, I suppose.  But, here’s why Barack Obama will win re-election:  The Press Corps will pull all of the Republicans’ entrails from their bodies in full view of the public.  Every historical oratorical gaffe, mistake, stupid utterance, questionable association and controversial position will become a feature story as the campaign unfolds. I’m okay with that.  

But, my money says that no such homework will be presented regarding the sitting President, because he was long ago innoculated against scrutiny by a sympathetic press that has become no more than a stenographic service for the Democrat Party.

And that’s why Barack Obama will get another four years in office.  He’s got the press in his pocket.  Control the information that is available to the people and you control the country.  Someone much smarter than I am said something like that back in the 1930s, I believe.  It’s true.

Another Convert To The Religion Of Peace

Sean Stone, film maker Oliver Stone’s son (photo above by Getty Images) has announced he just converted to Islam.  We may now properly address him as Ali.  Here’s the scoop from Yahoo News:

Sean Stone, son of Oscar-winning director Oliver Stone, converted to Islam on Tuesday in Iran, where he is making a documentary, he told AFP.”The conversion to Islam is not abandoning Christianity or Judaism, which I was born with. It means I have accepted Mohammad and other prophets,” he said in a brief telephone call from the central Iranian city of Isfahan, where he underwent the ceremony.

Sean Stone’s famous father is Jewish, while his mother is Christian.

The 27-year-old filmmaker did not say why he converted.

Contempt For Court

Diana West’s weekly column poses the question:  Why was Barack Obama not in contempt of Court for failing to appear at a Georgia ballot eligibility hearing, as a subpoena commanded him to do?  Mr. Obama’s supporters may yell over the question that all of this “birther” business has already been hashed out and decided in his favor.

Really?  Maybe and maybe not.

Over at The American Thinker there are some evidentiary items presented to the Court, under oath, which should be more than enough to raise some eyebrows.  Let’s take a look:

Denver talk radio host Peter Boyles followed this story closely on KHOW.  He is now back on it.  Here’s a link if you want to listen to Dr. Lakin, himself, explaining what’s happened to him since his release from prison.  Lakin speaks during the 7:00 hour, Mountain Time.  Of particular interest is a portion of the audio of Lakin’s appearance before the licensing board, during which he was grilled about his political views and President Obama’s citizenship:

Slicing It Thick

With overwhelming bi-partisan majority votes in both Houses, Congress passed a bill (the NDAA) that allows for indefinite military detention of suspects deemed to be enemies of the state, including American citizens.  That’s a little item that Barack Obama insisted be included.  No criminal charges, no indictments, no habeus corpus, no trial, no representation by counsel.  The Commander In Chief signed the bill into law while he was on Christmas vacation in Hawaii.  Then he promised he won’t use it. 

Really. 

Now some state legislators are huffing and puffing that they won’t cooperate with the military troops when they come to pick up your friends and neighbors who have been deemed to be enemies of the state.  Baloney, I sez.  Here’s a link to Bob Unruh’s story at World Net Daily:

State and local officials in surging numbers are telling Washington they simply won’t cooperate with any plans to detain Americans the federal government may choose to describe as “belligerents.”

The issue centers on provisions in the National Defense Authorization Act of 2012, signed by President Obama, for the indefinite and rights-free detention of those Washington cites as belligerents, whether American citizens or not.

Yeah.  Someone point out one act that this President has taken which anyone has been able to stop.

WND reported when  Rep. Daniel P. Gordon Jr. immediately drafted a resolution in the Rhode Island legislature to express opposition to the sections of the NDAA “that suspend habeas corpus and civil liberties.”

Now the Tenth Amendment Center confirms that the resistance to the federal bureaucracy is catching on.

Uh huh.  Since when does this Commander In Chief pay any attention to anything in that Constitution?  Read all of it.
