Obama Wants Stronger UN – Susan Rice To Lead The Charge – Get Out Your Wallets, America, And Give Up Your Identity

The Obama administration is making a push for the idea that the United States should strengthen the United Nations.  The translation for that is that we should pay more American tax dollars to fund it.  Ambassador Susan Rice is scheduled to make a major speech in support of the idea.  We can’t afford it, in several different ways.

If you have not been keeping tabs on what’s going on at the United Nations, it is an institution that has become so overtly anti-American in its policies that a good idea might be for us to stop paying our dues altogether and have it removed from our soil – perhaps to a Muslim state.

It should come as no surprise to anyone that the U.N. is now significantly influenced by the 57 members of the Organization of Islamic Conference, who have repeatedly pushed for a binding resolution making criticism of Islam a crime.  Via Drudge Report, here’s the latest from The Politico:

“Susan Rice, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, will argue in a major address Friday evening that the nation should “strengthen” — not “starve” — the world body…”

Au contraire, Ambassador Rice.  The U.N. does not wish America well.  Why should I want my tax dollars to go there?

“…The address is the first in a series of speeches — to continue this spring — making the case to the American people for why the U.N. matters to national security, and detailing how it is being improved. The ambassador will be speaking to the World Affairs Council of Oregon in Portland…”

I wonder why she’s not going to speak in, say, Arizona to float this idea.

“…“The U.N. provides a real return on our tax dollars by bringing 192 countries together to share the cost of providing stability, vital aid and hope in the world’s most broken places,” Rice said in prepared remarks…”

Truth:  The U.N. takes our dollars and then its Human Rights Commission flogs Americans in front of the entire world as violators of human rights.  American Obama-ambassadors Esther Brimmer and Michael Posner are jubilant participants in the flogging.  This audacity and abject sludge-slinging are beyond outrage, especially in consideration of the nations that accuse us of tyranny – Libya, Cuba, Egypt, North Korea, Iran and China – the usual suspects.

“…“Because of the U.N., the world doesn’t look to America to solve every problem alone. … We’re far better off working to strengthen the U.N. than trying to starve it — and then having to choose between filling the void ourselves, or leaving real threats untended.”

It doesn’t matter how many times I read stuff like this.  I’m always amazed that folks who have such disdain and ill will toward their own nation, wherein they have made their fortunes, can put forth such misleading material.

Strenthening the United Nations will have the exact opposite effect on our national well-being from what Susan Rice says it will.  It is going to further weaken us – financially;  by ceding power to globalists who want us subjugated to a one-world government;  and by further breaking down our national morale.  But then, Obama’s intentionally been doing all of that since the very day he took office and called Mahmoud Abbas in Palestine to assure him of our suport and good will – as he seeks to destroy Israel.

About John L. Work

John Lloyd Work has taken the detective thriller genre and woven an occasional political thread throughout his books, morphing what was once considered an arena reserved for pure fiction into believable, terrifying, futuristic, true-to-life “faction”. He traveled the uniformed patrolman’s path, answering brutal domestic violence calls, high speed chases, homicides, suicides, armed robberies, breaking up bar fights, and the accompanying sporadic unpredictable moments of terror - which eventually come to all police officers, sometimes when least expected. He gradually absorbed the hard fact that the greatest danger a cop faces comes in the form of day-to-day encounters with emotionally disturbed, highly intoxicated people. Those experiences can wear a cop down, grinding on his own emotions and psyche. Prolonged exposure to the worst of people and people at their worst can soon make him believe that the world is a sewer. That police officer’s reality is a common thread throughout Work’s crime fiction books. Following his graduation from high school, Work studied music and became a professional performer, conductor and teacher. Life made a sudden, unexpected turn when, one afternoon in 1976, his cousin, who eventually became the Chief of the Ontario, California, Police Department, talked him into riding along during a patrol shift. The musician was hooked into becoming a police officer. After working for two years as a reserve officer in Southern California and in Boulder, Colorado, he joined the Longmont, Colorado Police Department. Work served there for seven years, investigating crimes as a patrolman, detective and patrol sergeant. In 1989 he joined the Adams County, Colorado Sheriff’s Office, where he soon learned that locking a criminal up inside a jail or prison does not put him out of business. As a sheriff’s detective he investigated hundreds of crimes, including eleven contract murder conspiracies which originated “inside the walls”. While serving on the Adams County North Metro Gang Task Force and as a member of the Colorado Security Threat Intelligence Network Group (STING), Work designed a seminar on how a criminal’s mind formulates his victim selection strategy. Over a period of six years he taught that class in sheriff’s academies and colleges throughout Colorado. He saw the world of crime both inside the walls and out on the streets. His final experiences in the criminal law field were with the Colorado State Public Defender’s Office, where for nearly two years he investigated felonies from the defense side of the Courtroom. Twenty-two years of observing human nature at its worst, combined with watching some profound changes in America’s culture and political institutions, provided plenty of material for his first three books. A self-published author, he just finished writing his tenth thriller.
