So, as could be expected, journalists worldwide told us during Israel’s election day that the race was too close to call and that it was likely that Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud Party would lose. But, no. It wasn’t close, after all. It was a slaughter, with Netanyahu the winner, hands down. Perhaps the Israelis have actually figured out that Bibi is their last and only hope to stave off their destruction and save their lives – literally. Israel is surrounded by Shariah-compliant Muslim states bent on following their Quranic mandate to make war (jihad) against Jews.
Israel is a tiny country facing the fight of, and for, her very life. Looks like Bibi is willing to protect his people from the ages old institution of jihad via a nuked-up Iranian regime, which has also vowed to wipe the tiny state from the map.
Mr. Obama cannot be too happy with this development. You may rest assured he’s not happy with any of it. Remember, his very first official act as President was to make a phone call to Mahmoud Abbas and assure him of the new President’s support for the Palestinian cause – which you also might be interested to know includes the annihilation of Israel and her people. It’s in the Hamas Charter. Mr Obama’s actions have made it pretty clear that he has no use for the only functioning democracy in the Middle East and that he will continue to side with the forces of jihad – despite the many niceties that are oft spoken from the White House Press Room.
Listen to what I say. Don’t pay any attention to what I do.
So what can Mr. Obama do now? Well, he can go through the U.N., which, you might be interested to know, is pretty well dominated by the fifty-seven states of the OIC, formerly known as the Organization of Islamic Conference, now known as the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and try to force Israel to capitulate to more Palestinian demands – which will never cease. ForeignPolicy.com has an interesting report today on how this scenario might develop:
After years of blocking U.N. efforts to pressure Israelis and Palestinians into accepting a lasting two-state solution, the United States is edging closer toward supporting a U.N. Security Council resolution that would call for the resumption of political talks to conclude a final peace settlement, according to Western diplomats.
There can be no final peace settlement from the Muslim side of this conflict, except for Israel to finally utterly surrender her sovereignty, possessions and lands to Islam and for her people to either convert or die. The Quranic command is quite clear – for complete subjugation of all Infidels and a world under Muslim Law. It’s not negotiable, ladies and gentlemen. Anyone who believes differently needs to do a little homework on Islamic doctrine and history.
The move follows Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s decisive re-election Tuesday after the incumbent publicly abandoned his commitment to negotiate a Palestinian state — the basis of more than 20 years of U.S. diplomatic efforts — and promised to continue the construction of settlements on occupied territory. The development also reflects deepening pessimism over the prospect of U.S.-brokered negotiations delivering peace between Israelis and Palestinians.
Yes. Mr. Obama can’t force his will on the Israelis because Israel’s voters went with Bibi. So, now, the only viable option left to break Israel and destroy her remains in the OIC-dominated United Nations. Yes. I’ll say it. I believe Mr. Obama would be fully satisfied to see Israel annihilated and Shariah installed there.
Shortly before this week’s election, the United States informed its diplomatic partners that it would hold off any moves in the U.N. Security Council designed to put Israel on the spot at the United Nations in the event that Netanyahu’s challenger, Isaac Herzog, won the election. But U.S. officials signaled a willingness to consider a U.N. resolution in the event that Netanyahu was re-elected and formed a coalition government opposed to peace talks. The United States has not yet circulated a draft, but diplomats say Washington has set some red lines and is unwilling to agree to set a fixed deadline for political talks to conclude….
Oh, when Bibi won that election, the disappointment and anger must have been palpable in the White House. The political left and the RINOs in the United States are convulsing. Read all of it. The trouble is just beginning.
