You tell me. What kind of circus is this? Six-hundred plus candidates to be delegates to the national convention in Cleveland this summer got ten seconds each to make their pitches to the Colorado state convention. The Colorado GOP Executive Committee announced last August that there would be no straw poll taken this year at neighborhood caucuses for the office of President. Wonder why that was done? Here’s an idea. Somehow, without any polling from local precincts’ voters, binding or not binding, Ted Cruz got all 34 delegates.
Note the “Never Trump” lady CNN featured?
Apparently GOP Chairman Steve House et al still haven’t figured out who published that mysterious tweet after the convention results were announced. And don’t you love CNN’s Maeve Reston telling us about the “craziness” of Colorado’s delegate selection process. How fitting for the situation – a news lady with a Valley Girl voice and inflection. Perfect.
Is this still a great country or what?
