This was too good to pass up.
Anyone who has read Nineteen-Eighty-Four or Animal Farm by George Orwell will experience a sort of heartwarming, dizzying, nostalgic sensation while listening to State Department spokesman John Kirby lie through his teeth to the Press Corps about Mr. Obama’s broken “no boots on the ground in Syria” promises. Hang onto your chair arms, so you don’t fall to the floor.
I must confess to thoroughly enjoying some serious schadenfreude in watching the Associated Press reporter’s bewilderment and frustration as he slowly realizes that he, the rest of his media peers, and the entire nation have been had by this man Obama – The One whom they brazenly touted and vehemently defended from all background scrutiny.
It’s just too delicious.
Meanwhile, precious American troops are on the ground in Syria, fighting in yet another Muslim state civil war.
