Buttressing Diana West’s Rebuke Of Dwight Holton And Eric Holder

It's All In Here

“I want to be perfectly clear about this: training materials that portray Islam as a religion of violence or with a tendency towards violence are wrong, they are offensive, and they are contrary to everything that this president, this attorney general and Department of Justice stands for,” Holton said. “They will not be tolerated.”

The foregoing abjectly vacuous words were offered by former U.S. Attorney Dwight Holton, in support of Attorney General  Eric Holder’s intention to eliminate any and all law enforcement training which may cast Islam in a negative light.  Diana West responded to, and refuted, the comments today on her website.

In evidentiary support of Diana’s position, may I offer the following:

O Prophet! Strive against the disbelievers and the hypocrites, and be stern with them. Hell will be their home, a hapless journey’s end.

Quran (66:9)

“Let those fight in the way of Allah who sell the life of this world for the other. Whoso      fighteth in the way of Allah, be he slain or be he victorious, on him We shall bestow a vast reward.”

Quran (4:74)

“I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them”

Quran (8:12)

“They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they): But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (From what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks.”

Quran (4:89)

“Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.”

Quran (9:29)

“Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah…”

Quran (4:76)

“[Mohammed] declared undistinguishing and exterminating war, as a part of his religion, against all the rest of mankind…The precept of the Quran is, perpetual war against all who deny that [Mohammed] is the Prophet of God.

The vanquished [dhimmi] may purchase their lives by the payment of tribute.”

John Quincy Adams

I could go on with much, much more.  But, you’d run out of time, I assure you.  As Diana said so clearly, it is more than obvious that Mr. Holton and Mr. Holder are devoid of any doctrinal Islamic knowledge.

About John L. Work

John Lloyd Work has taken the detective thriller genre and woven an occasional political thread throughout his books, morphing what was once considered an arena reserved for pure fiction into believable, terrifying, futuristic, true-to-life “faction”. He traveled the uniformed patrolman’s path, answering brutal domestic violence calls, high speed chases, homicides, suicides, armed robberies, breaking up bar fights, and the accompanying sporadic unpredictable moments of terror - which eventually come to all police officers, sometimes when least expected. He gradually absorbed the hard fact that the greatest danger a cop faces comes in the form of day-to-day encounters with emotionally disturbed, highly intoxicated people. Those experiences can wear a cop down, grinding on his own emotions and psyche. Prolonged exposure to the worst of people and people at their worst can soon make him believe that the world is a sewer. That police officer’s reality is a common thread throughout Work’s crime fiction books. Following his graduation from high school, Work studied music and became a professional performer, conductor and teacher. Life made a sudden, unexpected turn when, one afternoon in 1976, his cousin, who eventually became the Chief of the Ontario, California, Police Department, talked him into riding along during a patrol shift. The musician was hooked into becoming a police officer. After working for two years as a reserve officer in Southern California and in Boulder, Colorado, he joined the Longmont, Colorado Police Department. Work served there for seven years, investigating crimes as a patrolman, detective and patrol sergeant. In 1989 he joined the Adams County, Colorado Sheriff’s Office, where he soon learned that locking a criminal up inside a jail or prison does not put him out of business. As a sheriff’s detective he investigated hundreds of crimes, including eleven contract murder conspiracies which originated “inside the walls”. While serving on the Adams County North Metro Gang Task Force and as a member of the Colorado Security Threat Intelligence Network Group (STING), Work designed a seminar on how a criminal’s mind formulates his victim selection strategy. Over a period of six years he taught that class in sheriff’s academies and colleges throughout Colorado. He saw the world of crime both inside the walls and out on the streets. His final experiences in the criminal law field were with the Colorado State Public Defender’s Office, where for nearly two years he investigated felonies from the defense side of the Courtroom. Twenty-two years of observing human nature at its worst, combined with watching some profound changes in America’s culture and political institutions, provided plenty of material for his first three books. A self-published author, he just finished writing his tenth thriller.

  1. ShamelessSharia says:

PERHAPS they don’t have any doctrinal knowledge about Islam….
Perhaps it’s more than that. Perhaps they do, but they are following our Muslim-in-Chief’s directives. Perhaps they are closet Muslims themselves. I really don’t know.

Whichever the case may be, they are disasters in attempting one of the biggest cover-ups I’ve ever seen in preventing our nation’s law enforcement from knowing what and with whom they are dealing. It’s like preventing any details getting to the FBI about the nature of the Mafia. This is blinding them and tying their hands behind their backs.

I voted for B.O., and if for no other reason, I’m going to vote him and his DOJ out, since he seems to have Islam’s interests in front of ours.
