Having been a cop in Colorado for some 20 years, I was intrigued with what Sharon Bialek described regarding Herman Cain’s attempted sexual assault by force on her, which she alleges occurred in 1997. That’s what she described, by the way, according to Colorado criminal law: Criminal Attempt to Commit Third Degree Sexual Assault. She says that she and Cain went out to dinner together; that he later pulled the car in which she was a passenger over to the curb; that he suddenly put his hand up her skirt – reaching toward her genitals; that he grabbed her head and pulled it down toward his crotch. When she protested, he stopped the assault and took her home. That’s the story. Here’s a link to the news conference video and the BBC News’ report:

Ms. Bialek is now represented by attorney Gloria Allred.
Where I worked in law enforcement for twenty years, what Ms. Bialek described would have been enough to arrest Mr. Cain for attempted 3rd Degree Sexual Assault by force and refer the case to a District Attorney for formal filing of charges.
My questions are:
1) Why didn’t Ms. Bialek go straight to the police right after the event and have Mr. Cain arrested for the alleged crime – and prosecuted?
2) Why didn’t she get an attorney and sue him?
3) Why is she not suing him now?
She says she just wants to clear the air, for Mr. Cain to make this right for the American People and admit what he did. She says she’s not being paid for any of this news coverage and she’s not paying Gloria Allred to represent her.
Mr. Cain is not admitting to any guilt and denies the allegations.
I’m also fascinated, as Rush Limbaugh observed today, that none of these, what is it now, five women came forward when Mr. Cain was a candidate for the Senate a few years back. It’s all happened in a matter of days, since he came out of nowhere, emerging in the polls as a bona fide threat to take the Republican Presidential nomination away from both Diet-Obama candidates -Mitt Romney and Texas Governor Rick Perry.
So, how many more women can there be, lining up now to tell their stories in the Court of Public Opinion? With all of these sexual episodes going on, when did Mr. Cain ever find the time to run a Federal Reserve Bank and the NRA, let alone the Godfather’s Pizza Corporation? There are only so many hours in a day. I guess we’d have to ask Bill Clinton for the answer to that question.

After working for two years as a reserve officer in Southern California and in Boulder, Colorado, he joined the Longmont, Colorado Police Department. Work served there for seven years, investigating crimes as a patrolman, detective and patrol sergeant. In 1989 he joined the Adams County, Colorado Sheriff’s Office, where he soon learned that locking a criminal up inside a jail or prison does not put him out of business. As a sheriff’s detective he investigated hundreds of crimes, including eleven contract murder conspiracies which originated “inside the walls”.
While serving on the Adams County North Metro Gang Task Force and as a member of the Colorado Security Threat Intelligence Network Group (STING), Work designed a seminar on how a criminal’s mind formulates his victim selection strategy. Over a period of six years he taught that class in sheriff’s academies and colleges throughout Colorado. He saw the world of crime both inside the walls and out on the streets.
His final experiences in the criminal law field were with the Colorado State Public Defender’s Office, where for nearly two years he investigated felonies from the defense side of the Courtroom.
Twenty-two years of observing human nature at its worst, combined with watching some profound changes in America’s culture and political institutions, provided plenty of material for his first three books. A self-published author, he just finished writing his tenth thriller.

LOL, this person has obviously been paid, to say she was attacked by caine, which I dont believe. She doesnt even look his type , because she looks hard, imo. Until the dems investigate obamas background and force him to produce his birth certificate, Im not going to worry about any affairs or attacks, which cant be proven, especially 9-14 years, after the fact. IM sure the dems are behind these women coming forward. I dont have perfect sight but Im sure not BLIND~~
